By Chris Trevino, USCFootball: USC’s defense took a big step forward on Sunday with a commitment from rising sophomore defense lineman Bear Alexander out of the NCAA Transfer Portal. The Georgia transfer chose USC over Texas, Penn State, Miami and others.
Alexander is the No. 12 overall prospect in the 247Sports Transfer Portal rankings, the No. 1 defensive lineman. He is the highest-rated prospect in USC’s transfer class.
