By Stacey Blackwood, Buffaloes Wire: On Monday night, head coach JR Payne and the Colorado Buffaloes women’s basketball team upset the defending NCAA Tournament champions and the No. 1 ranked LSU Tigers 92-78 to open up the 2023-24 season.
The Buffs were led by Frida Formann and Aaronette Vonleh in the dominant upset victory over the Tigers as the two combined for 51 points.
