By Garrett Stepien, 247Sports: The Southeastern Conference through commissioner Greg Sankey released a statement on the ending of Saturday’s college football game between Ole Miss and Tennessee, a 31-26 Rebels win, in which Volunteers fans threw trash onto the Neyland Stadium field — including at OM head coach Lane Kiffin’s direction.
Sankey wrote that the SEC would take a look into the league’s policies and consider penalties for what transpired.
