Santa Clara County clears Stanford football to practice on campus

East Bay Times: Stanford football got the clearance it has been seeking to return to campus to prepare for the 2020 football season.

Public health officials announced Tuesday that Santa Clara County moved into the orange, or moderate, tier in the state’s risk reduction order to pave the way for regular football practices. The county had placed strict guidelines on activities such as football to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

Stanford, SJSU football teams cleared to practice on campus in Santa Clara County

Stanford and San Jose State received Santa Clara County clearance Tuesday to begin football practices on their respective campuses.
