San Diego State announces firing of head baseball coach Shaun Cole

By Bryant Thursby, East Village Times: Early Thursday, May 29, JD Wicker released a statement that the Aztecs are not renewing Shaun Cole’s contract.

Wicker discussed Shaun Cole and his tenure at the school. “I appreciate Shaun’s commitment and contributions to San Diego State baseball. However, at this time, I believe that a change in leadership is needed in the program,” SDSU AD John David Wicker said.
