By Chris Fetters, Dawgman: It’s been a little lost in Washington’s run to 10-0, but they’re missing a player that could have helped them this season. Zach Durfee’s eligibility has been in question because of two transfers, first from North Dakota State to Sioux Falls, and then from Sioux Falls to Washington.
The NCAA requires a player sit for a season after using more than one ‘free’ transfer, unless they move down in division. Durfee obviously moved up from NDSU to Sioux Falls to Washington, but he never played any sports at all at North Dakota State.
