By Pete Nakos, On3 Sports: USC is hiring a former Oregon and New England Patriots offensive line coach to its staff as an analyst, On3 has learned. Adrian Klemm is joining the Trojans as a defensive analyst, per a source.
Head coach Lincoln Riley has openly talked about bringing in an analyst with offensive experience to work on the defensive side of the ball. According to WeAreSC’s Erik McKinney, Klemm worked extensively with Rob Ryan and the linebackers at USC’s first practice of fall camp on Wednesday.
Klemm spent 2019 to 2021 as the Pittsburgh Steelers’ offensive line coach before returning to the college game as a major piece of Dan Lanning’s staff. He held the associate head coach and run game coordinator titles during his time with the Ducks. Klemm accepted a job in February 2023 on Bill Belichick’s staff with the New England Patriots.
