By Zachary Neel, Ducks Wire: We knew that Oregon safety Bennett Williams was likely to miss some time this season after he didn’t play on Saturday against the Stanford Cardinal and head coach Mario Cristobal described it as a “freak injury,” but we didn’t quite know how bad it was.
Now, according to the I-5 Corridor’s Tyson Alger, it appears that Williams will miss the remainder of the season after having surgery to repair a broken fibula that was suffered during Friday’s walk-through ahead of the Stanford game.
