Bear Territory: As Cal and Under Armour remain entangled in a legal dispute after the apparel company notified the university earlier this summer that it intends to terminate its multi-million dollar deal with the Golden Bears, a number of peculiar details regarding the contract between the two parties have come to light. Not only was the long-term deal, as reported in June, never formally signed, but a new report the San Jose Mercury News now indicates that Under Armour also took issue with a third-party operator selling just less $600 worth of Cal apparel that was manufactured when the school was still a Nike client.
