By Jake Curtis, Cal Sports Report: Most people were shocked when it was reported in December that Cal head coach Justin Wilcox turned down Oregon’s offer to be the Ducks head coach, a job that ultimately went to Georgia defensive coordinator Dan Lanning.
Wilcox later explained that he felt Cal was on the cusp of doing something special and wanted to be a part of it.
