By Pete Nakos, On3 Sports: Oregon freshman safety Trey McNutt has broken his right leg in fall training camp, sources tell On3. No clear timetable for a return has been set.
The Five-Star Plus+ recruit in the 2025 cycle picked the Ducks over in-state Ohio State. The Shaker Heights (Ohio) product was the No. 26 recruit and the No. 2 safety in his class.
The 5-foot-11.5, 185-pound safety was expected to contribute as a true freshman this season. He was named one of Rivals’ Charles Power’s instant impact signees.
