Duck Territory: Boise State immediately went to work to find a new head football coach following Bryan Harsin’s departure to Auburn. After much speculation on names where the Broncos could turn, multiple reports this week have said that Oregon defensive coordinator Andy Avalos was one of the candidates who interviewed for the job. Avalos, a former Boise State linebacker is one of the names most connected to the search.
On Wednesday, KOTV reporter Dan Hawk tweeted that Avalos had interviewed with Boise State. Following that report, on Saturday Mike Prater of the Idaho Press tweeted that Andy Avalos and Kellen Moore have both interviewed and are interested in the job.
