Report on UC Regents agenda indicates UCLA could spend big on next coach

By Dylan McNeill, UCLA Wire: Could the UCLA Bruins break the bank on their next coaching hire? It’s far from confirmed, but on Sunday sports reporter Jon Wilner tweeted a UC Board of Regents agenda piece, where the regents will discuss the compensation for the next UCLA Bruins head coach in closed session.

The meeting will take place in San Francisco on Tuesday. Some have speculated that the regents’ approval would be necessary for any big jump in salary for coaches.
