Report: Jordyn Tyson to opt for NFL Draft, not expected to play in Sun Bowl

By Damon Allred, Arizona Sports: Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson is declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft and isn’t expected to play in the Sun Bowl, according to reports on Wednesday.

Tyson is projected as a first-round pick with the potential to be the first wide receiver off the board, pacing receivers according to three of ESPN’s four analysts in position rankings posted on Nov. 25.

Despite missing 3.5 games this season, the redshirt junior ranks top five among Big 12 receivers in catches (61, fourth) and touchdown receptions (eight, T-5). He is 12th in yards with 711.
