247Sports: The Washington Football team and quarterback Alex Smith will part ways soon, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Kim Jones. Smith, a former No. 1 overall pick, was the 2020 NFL Comeback Player of the Year thanks to his return from a gruesome leg injury that nearly ended his career.
