Report: Former OSU star Sean Mannion retires from NFL, joins Packers staff

By Geoffrey C. Arnold, The Oergonian/OregonLive: Sean Mannion has retired as a NFL player and has accepted a coaching position with the Green Bay Packers.

The former Oregon State star quarterback reportedly retired effectively immediately and has accepted a position with the Packers’ staff as an assistant coach working with the quarterbacks and passing game, according to ESPN’s Brady Henderson.
