The Detroit Pistons are expected hire Bickerstaff as their new head coach, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Sunday. Bickerstaff and the Pistons have agreed to five-year deal, according to the report.
The former Oregon State Beavers’ star was hired to replace Monty Williams, who was fired posting a league-worst 14-68 in his first season in Detroit, their second consecutive season of posting less than 20 wins.
