By Joe Coles, Deseret News: While no definitive decision has been made, the expectation is that Utah quarterback Cam Rising will not be on Utah’s roster for the 2025 season, according to a new report from 247Sports national reporter Matt Zenitz.
Rising, who transferred to Utah from Texas, has been with Utah since the 2019 season. He led the Utes to back-to-back Pac-12 titles in 2021 and 2022 as a starting quarterback, but missed the 2023 season after suffering a brutal knee injury in the 2023 Rose Bowl.
