By John Keim, ESPN: The Washington Commanders, who are widely expected to select a quarterback with the second overall pick in next month’s draft, agreed to a deal with veteran Marcus Mariota, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Tuesday.
Mariota, who played sparingly for the Philadelphia Eagles last season, agreed to a one-year deal worth $6 million that could reach $10 million with incentives, sources told ESPN.
