By Robby McCombs, Vanquish the Foe: BYU’s Thanksgiving opponent is set as BYU will play the Miami Hurricanes in the first round of the ESPN Events Invitational, according to Jon Rothstein. BYU will play either Georgetown or Dayton the next day on Friday, November 28. The games will be broadcast on ESPN Networks and take place in Orlando, Florida.
Miami was one of the worst power conference teams last season, but overhauled its roster and coaching staff this offseason. Miami essentially turned over its whole roster and brought in a recruiting class ranked 17th in composite rankings, according to 247 Sports.
