Report: ASU, Kenny Dillingham 'close' to agreement on new contract terms

By Chris Karpman, SunDevil Source: Kenny Dillingham and Arizona State are “close” to reaching an agreement on contract amendments that would increase his annual base compensation, two people familiar with the negotiations told Sun Devil Source.

Contract discussions have been ongoing between ASU’s athletic director, Graham Rossini, and Dillingham’s agent, Clint Dowdle, for about two weeks — since the conclusion of the team’s regular season. The conversations continued as widespread speculation on Friday contributed to Dillingham being listed as a strong favorite to become Michigan’s next head coach on multiple betting platforms.

Even though Kenny Dillingham's existing contract calls for an automatic one-year extension through 2030 and a $200,000 raise next year for achieving eight regular-season wins in 2025, his agent and Arizona State are discussing a revised agreement that would include a raise in base pay.
