Report: Arizona RB coach Alonzo Carter to be named Sac State football HC

By Michelle Dapper, KCRA.com: Sources tell KCRA 3’s Michelle Dapper Sacramento State will hire Alonzo Carter as their next head football coach and the deal will be finalized Monday.

Carter is an Oakland native and has been coaching alongside Arizona head coach, Brent Brennan since they were at San Jose State in 2017.

Before San Jose State, Carter was a head coach for 18 years at Berkeley High School and McClymonds High School in the Bay Area with an all-time record of 129-69-3.
