According to a report by Yahoo.com’s Pete Thamel, Arizona defensive coordinator Don Brown has emerged as a top candidate for the head coaching vacancy at UMass. As of now, an announcement is not imminent.
Brown has previously been a head coach at Massachusetts (2004-08), Northeastern (2000-03), and Plymouth State (1993-95) and led his teams to an impressive record of 94-45.
