By Zackary Armstrong, CougFan: Washington State graduate wide receiver Renard Bell said a pair of new Cougar wideouts are going to be “something special in the future.” Bell (5-8, 162) is back in Pullman for a sixth season, along with fellow starting slot receiver and fifth-year senior Travell Harris, but following the Cougars’ seventh spring practice Tuesday, he said has high hopes for the days he is no longer on the Palouse.
Bell is high on the two in-state walk ons — sophomore Lincoln Victor and junior Drake Owen — who joined the WSU program in January. Victor came to Pullman after transferring from Hawaii, while Owen walked on after playing at Central Washington. Both players call the Camas area home.
