By Clint Brewster, 247Sports: Week 1 gave us a fun peek at how the quarterback landscape will look in 2024. Even though some schools played against subpar competition, you could still see which quarterbacks have what it takes to be successful this year. Week 1 provided a preview of sorts of the names we’ll be talking about all season and then considering for the Heisman come November and December.
Because of the transfer portal, there are so many new signal-callers at new programs around the country. That movement allows some of the best players in the country a fresh start with a new offensive coordinator, a new environment, and a new set of skill players. With this comes transition and patience. Some quarterbacks will need time to gel or develop cohesion with their new team, but others won’t miss a beat with their new team. There are also several young quarterbacks showing special ability early in their careers.
