By Chris Murray, Nevada Sports Net: Nevada played one of the hardest schedules in program history last season, facing eight bowl teams, including two (SMU, Boise State) that reached the 12-team College Football Playoff.
While this year’s schedule doesn’t appear as challenging on paper, there are still plenty of obstacles. Nevada opens at Penn State, which will be a preseason top-five team, but only faces six teams that qualified for bowl games last season.
Still, the Wolf Pack’s 2025 schedule is ranked as the hardest of the 12 MW teams, per ESPN’s SP+ index.
Below is each of the MW teams ranked by SP+’s strength of schedule out of 136 FBS programs. Also included is the chronological order of each team’s schedule and an overview of that slate.
