Ramey: Why Nevada men's basketball could win the Mtn West title this season

By John Ramey, Nevada Sports Net: Nevada men’s basketball has completed its non-conference schedule. The Wolf Pack is 8-3. One of the three losses (UC Davis) could or should have been a win, knowing what we now know but could not have known at season’s beginning about this roster. And the way in which Nevada lost to an apparently good Washington team has not cropped up again for the Pack, showing a promising resiliency and penchant for growth.

Four of the eight wins (Pacific, Southern Illinois, UC San Diego, Duquesne) could have been losses, but as we are learning, Nevada possesses (so far) a knack for winning close games.
