Quarterback Cam Rising not listed on Utah football's 2025 roster

By Joe Coles, Deseret News: There’s one notable name missing from Utah’s 2025 spring football roster.

Quarterback Cam Rising’s name does not appear on the school’s recently released 2025 roster, seemingly marking the end of the senior’s six-season career at Utah.

The writing was on the wall after Utah brought in New Mexico quarterback Devon Dampier, who was coached by new Ute offensive coordinator Jason Beck last season, and now it appears all but official — Rising’s time as a Ute quarterback is done.
