USCFootball.com: A smile crept across the face of USC sophomore quarterback Kedon Slovis as he started to answer the final question of a media call on Friday.
Slovis had been asked about reaching out to redshirt junior offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker about the possibility of returning for the 2020 season after Vera-Tucker chose to opt out to prepare for the NFL draft with so many uncertainties in early September. Vera-Tucker had been slated to protect Slovis’ backside, taking over at left tackle for departed first round draft pick Austin Jackson.
