Purdue to honor Drew Brees, 2000 Rose Bowl team on Saturday during USC game

By Adam Bradford, Trojans Wire: On Saturday, USC football will play its first road game of the season at Purdue. After opening up against two low-level group of five opponents, this will mark the Trojans’ first opportunity to face a Big Ten opponent in 2025.

It appears as though the Boilermakers are trying to make a big spectacle out of the game. Recently Purdue announced that on Saturday, they will honor the 25th anniversary of their 2000 team, one of two in school history to make it to the Rose Bowl.
