By Pete Nakos, On3 Sports: College football coaches and players begin training camp on campuses ahead of the season in the next week, with a handful of programs starting up in the coming days in anticipation of Week 1. Teams can practice 25 times over 29 days leading up to their first game of the season.
Seven of the 25 practices must be held with helmets only. Schools traditionally hold a couple of scrimmages before the season opener.
Below is a list of fall camp dates for college football programs in the Power Four. For programs that have not yet announced a formal start date, On3 has listed the earliest possible date practice can begin. This list will be updated as college football fall practices officially begin.
