Duck Territory: A pair of former Oregon defensive lineman have been reunited on the same line in San Francisco. The 49ers re-signed former Oregon defensive end, Arik Armstead, off of his rookie contract and in August brought in former Raiders’ defensive end Dion Jordan to add an Oregon tandem on their defensive line. The two linemen played at one season together in 2012, both ending up as first-round NFL draft picks, three seasons apart.
Jordan is still the highest picked defensive prospect to come out of Oregon going at No. 3 overall in the 2013 NFL Draft but was followed by Armstead at No. 17 overall in the 2015 NFL Draft and DeForest Buckner a year later at No. 7 overall in 2016.
