PFF shakes up 2026 mock NFL draft after CFP championship game

By Alex Byington, On3: The 2025 college football season formally came to a close following No. 1 Indiana’s 27-21 win over No. 10 Miami in Monday night’s College Football Playoff National Championship Game. With that now in the rearview, all eyes turn to the NFL, and more specifically, the 2026 NFL Draft.

That includes the folks over at Pro Football Focus, which unveiled an updated mock draft reflecting last week’s big news that Oregon quarterback Dante Moore, widely projected to be a Top 5 pick in April, would be returning to college for the 2026 season. That forced the QB-needy New York Jets to look elsewhere given the expectation Indiana‘s Fernando Mendoza, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner and newly-minted national champion QB, will go No. 1 overall to the Las Vegas Raiders.
