Pat Chun says WSU in ‘background checking process’ for offensive assistants

By Zackary Armstrong, CougFan: Washington State director of athletics Pat Chun said Tuesday the Cougars’ athletic department is “in the background checking process now” to bring in offensive coaches to help operate the Run ‘n’ Shoot for the remainder of 2021 in the wake of the dismissal of Nick Rolovich and four assistant coaches.

While on The Bald Faced Truth Podcast with John Canzano, Chun said Rolovich and WSU offensive coordinator Brian Smith gave him recommendations for assistants to hire if WSU found itself in its current situation.
