Pac-12 expected to eliminate redshirt year for intra-conference transfers

By Trevor Allen, KSL Sports:  According to reports, the Pac-12 is expected to eliminate the redshirt year for undergraduates that transfer within the conference.

This would make the transfer immediately eligible to play at their new Pac-12 school and eliminate the redshirt season. The rule would apply only to student-athletes that transfer from a Pac-12 school to another program in the conference as an undergraduate. Graduate transfers are already immediately eligible.
