One month ago the conference presidents and chancellors voted to cancel the fall football season amid uncertainties surrounding testing capacity, community outbreaks, local government guidelines and longterm effects tied to the COVID-19 pandemic. On Thursday, a new path to a fall football season appeared two months earlier than he expected: daily testing with rapid and accurate results.
Now it’s possible — possible — the Pac-12 could reverse course and begin the football season in November.
