By Dean Straka, 247Sports: Questions continue to hover over the Pac-12 Conference, which loses flagships USC and UCLA to the Big Ten in 2024 and has still not finalized a media rights deal beyond that year.
At least one prominent voice in the media consulting business, Neal Pilson, told CBS Sports’ Dennis Dodd that the Pac-12 must make it a priority to preserve its membership count — expansion could be necessary for that — in order to still have a place at the table in the landscape of major collegiate athletics.
