OregonLive: Oregon State football coach Jonathan Smith joined me on Tuesday for a conversation about the wait for the college football season.
Smith said of the Pac-12′s plan, “(We’re being told) we have to wait until January to do competition. So the earliest we could play a game is January 1. But we could train and have a training camp before that so we would be back and truly practicing… the earliest we could play someone else would be Jan. 1 and I think we’re shooting to put a plan together to get that started around January or February.”
