OregonLive: About an hour after the Pac-12 announced that it will not play football this fall, Oregon State athletic director Scott Barnes reacted by writing a letter to Beaver boosters on the school’s athletics website.
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, gone for now is OSU’s 10-game football schedule that was slated to begin Sept. 26 against California. Also out for the remainder of 2020 are fall sports such as cross country, volleyball, soccer and golf, in addition to the first two month of competition in basketball and wrestling.
