Oregon, USC among CFB programs with most consecutive seasons in AP Top 25

Programs with the most consecutive seasons ranked with the AP Top 25 Poll shows longevity, but most of all, it further separates the haves from the have-nots. It reveals the teams accustomed to achievement and elite play.

That’s partly what makes the retirement of Nick Saban so unique for Alabama, a program that’s won six national championships since 2009 and was a perennial top-three team under his watch. Saban hands over the Crimson Tide’s torch to Washington’s Kalen DeBoer in a new era defined by the transfer portal and NIL in hopes the university’s new coaching staff doesn’t miss a beat.
