By Carter Bahns, Beaver Blitz: Oregon State’s defensive backfield turned in somewhat of a feast or famine season in 2020 in terms of locking down its opponents’ passing attacks. The Beavers finished the year firmly in the middle of the national rankings in passing yards allowed per game at 224.7, and that figure was the result of three very strong outings and three subpar performances. The group certainly flashed its production ceiling at times, but there is room for improvement in terms of consistency and living up to that potential on a weekly basis.
