By Dylan Callaghan-Croley, BeaversEdge: NASCAR’s Xfinity Series is in Portland this weekend at the Portland International Raceway for the Pacific Office Automation 147. Looking to cash in on additional national exposure, Oregon State University teamed up with the No. 26 Thompson Pipe Group car driven by Dean Thompson for the race.
This will be the fourth edition of the Pacific Office Automation 147 after being run each of the last three years. The 2022 edition of the race was the first race in the Pacific Northwest region since the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series raced at Portland International Raceway in 1999 and 2000.
