Oregon State fined $5,000 for fans storming court after win over Gonzaga

By Nick Daschel, The Oregonian/OregonLive: Oregon State’s 97-89 overtime win over No. 16 Gonzaga became a little more expensive Friday.

The West Coast Conference fined OSU $5,000 after fans, mostly students, stormed the court at Gill Coliseum immediately after the game ended. That is the fine for a first-time offense.

The West Coast Conference began a policy in 2023 where fines are levied if teams are not allowed to safely leave the court.
