By Brenden Slaughter, BeaversEdge: Oregon State junior defensive lineman Isaac Hodgins had surgery on his foot Monday following an injury during Saturday’s practice and is expected to miss eight weeks, head coach Jonathan Smith announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The injury is a big blow as the 6-foot, 274-pounder is the Beavers’ most seasoned and experienced defensive lineman. For his career, he’s tallied 76 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, and five sacks.
