By James Crepea, The Oregonian/OregonLive: Oregon running backs coach Ra’Shaad Samples is a candidate for the head coaching job at North Texas.
The American conference school has expressed interest in Samples, a source with knowledge of the matter told The Oregonian/OregonLive.
Samples, 30, has been widely mentioned as a potential candidate for the Mean Green since Eric Morris was hired at Oklahoma State earlier this week.
