Duck Territory: Oregon’s quarterback signee for the class of 2021 has taken home a major honor following his senior season of high school.  Gilbert (Ariz.) Mesquite quarterback Ty Thompson was named as the 2020 Maxwell Football Club Offensive National High School Player of the Year. The award was announced in a release on Tuesday with Thompson earning the offensive award and Clemson signee Barrett Carter winning the defensive award.
