OregonLive.com: Oregon is the narrow choice to win the Pac-12 football championship this season, according to a preseason media poll unveiled Wednesday morning.
In a poll of 38 media voters, the Ducks earned 21 first place votes, just ahead of USC with 15. Arizona State and Utah earned one vote each.
Oregon was a near-unanimous pick to claim the Pac-12 North. The Ducks received 35 first-place votes, while California had three. The Bears were picked to finish second, followed by Washington, Stanford, Oregon State and Washington State.
