By Bjorn Bergstrom, Ducks Wire: The list of departures from the Oregon Ducks men’s basketball program continues to grow, as assistant coach Mike Mennenga has decided to take a job with the Creighton Bluejays, per John Canzano. He leaves alongside eight players that have entered the transfer portal, a group highlighted by point guard Jackson Shelstad and forward Kwame Evans Jr.
Mennenga was a key piece of the Ducks’ staff, as he coached alongside Dana Altman for the last 11 seasons. He specialized in player development and recruiting, with four Oregon standouts earning Conference Player of the Year honors with multiple consensus All-American selections.
