By Chandler Vessels, On3: Disaster struck Oregon before the game even began for its season opener against Montana State. As pregame festivities were getting underway, the FOX broadcast caught the Ducks mascot losing its head — literally.
Cameras captured the moment where the mascot was running onto the field and fell down, causing the head of the costume to come off. The person then took off the the other direction, presumably to get out of sight before too many people saw his true identity. You can watch the moment below.
