Oregon freshman QB Ty Thompson may have 'turned Tyler Shough's head'

247Sports: For the second offseason in a row, the Oregon quarterback position is up in the air. Duck Territory’s Erik Skopil joined ‘The College Football Daily’ to discuss how that position battle might shake out in 2021.

Last year’s starting quarterback, Tyler Shough, has already entered the NCAA Transfer Portal. That could be due, at least in part, to the arrival of 2021 signee Ty Thompson. The four-star recruit was a highly-touted prospect coming out of high school, and Skopil compared the situation to the dynamic between former Oregon quarterbacks Darron Thomas and Marcus Mariota.
